Boiling mineral
Zeolite is the name for a group of minerals containing a high concentration of water. The name comes from the Greek word 'zein' meaning 'Cooking' and 'Lithos' meaning 'stone'. When zeolites are heated, the water boils out. Zeolites are often formed in volcanic rock.
Stilbite and Heulandite
The best known minerals of the zeolite group are heulandite, stilbite and natrolite. These minerals often occur in combination with each other and with apophyllite. Because of its high water concentration, apophyllite is often referred to as zeolite. However, the crystal structure is so different that it does not belong to the zeolites.
Working of zeolite
All zeolites work detoxifying and can help in recovering from a drug or alcohol addiction. They eliminate negative energy and replace it with positive energy. Zeolites are therefore perfectly suited to be placed in areas that should remain free of negativity.
