When turning the stone it lights up different areas similar to tiger eye but in a greater color variance. Nellite is a combination of pietersite tiger eye, falcon eye and quartz.

The colors of Pietersite vary from red to brown to yellow and blue. Often the different colors come together what gives pietersite a rare beauty. These Pietersite pieces are from South Africa, one of the few places in the world where this mineral is found.
