Best preserved fossil in the world
Baltic amber is fossilized resin from Scandinavian conifers, about 44 million years old. At that time there was a relatively mild climate and the coniferous forest stretched far into the Scandinavian area with trees up to 40 meters high. Resin-enclosed insects are exceptionally well preserved and have already taught science much about the evolution between these fossil specimens and our current insects. The trapped insects in amber are therefore considered to be the best-preserved fossils on earth.
Jurassic Park
All in all, a beautifully imaginative piece of Earth history that inspired Steven Spielberg in the making of the movie Jurassic Park.
Operation amber
Amber works as a healing stone that removes negative energy from the body. Wearing amber jewelry stimulates a good mood and depressed feelings diminish or disappear with wearing amber.
